We recently had the pleasure of hosting a stunning Lotus Emira First Edition at our studio for three days of intensive care. The Detailing Process: A Three Day Transformation

Our goal is to ensure your vehicle achieves a "best in class" finish. Here is how we tackled this stunning Magma Red Lotus:

Day 1: Decontamination and Protection Prep

We began by removing the wheels to deep clean the arches, calipers, and the wheels themselves.

Protection: We applied a dedicated two year ceramic coating to the wheels, brake calipers, and exhaust tips. Gtechniq Wheel Armour is the Ceramic Coating of choice
The Wash: The paintwork underwent a rigorous three stage wash. A contact wash for surface dirt, a chemical wash to remove iron fallout and tar, and a clay bar treatment to remove bonded contaminants.
Engine Bay: Because the engine is visible through the rear glass on the Emira, we performed a meticulous deep clean of the engine bay.
Glass: We machine polished the glass and applied a two year ceramic coating for crystal clear visibility. Gtechniq Smart Glass was the Ceramic Coating of choice

Day 2: Paint Correction and Gloss Enhancement

The focus shifted to the paintwork.

Machine Polishing: We utilized a single stage machine polish to remove light scratches and swirls, significantly enhancing the gloss of the Magma Red paint.
Piano Black Restoration: The piano black roof arrived in an "abysmal" state, covered in swirls and fading, but our team successfully restored it to a showroom quality finish.
Panel Wipe: We finished the day by using CarPro Eraser to remove all polishing oils and residues, ensuring the surface was perfectly prepped for the final coating.

Ceramic Coatings On The Wirral

Day 3: Interior Care and Professional Grade Ceramic Coating

To wrap up the project, we focused on the cabin and final exterior protection.

Interior Deep Clean: Using professional steamers and air guns, we cleared every crevice. We then protected the upholstery using Gtechniq Leather Guard for the leather and Gtechniq Smart Fabric for the fabric surfaces.
Final Coating: We installed CarPro C.QUARTZ Professional, a premium ceramic coating designed to provide up to 3 years of protection to the exterior paintwork.
