When a stunning Porsche 911 arrived at our Car Detailing Studio On The Wirral, our goal was simple. Provide the ultimate protection and enhancement for a car that deserves nothing less. Whether you own a modern daily driver or a seven year old ICON! maintaining that "factory fresh" look is about more than just a quick wash, it is about deep cleaning and long term ceramic protection.

In this post, we’re pulling back the curtain on our flagship three-day protection service, detailing exactly how we transform a vehicle into a high-gloss masterpiece.




Day One: Decontamination Wash


Before any protection can be applied, the vehicle must be surgically clean. We do not just wash the surface.


  • Wheel & Arch Detail: We remove the wheels entirely to deep clean the faces, barrels, and the backs of the faces. We also deep clean the arches and brake calipers, followed by applying a dedicated 2 year ceramic coating GTechnic Wheel Armour to the entirety of the wheel and brake ensure long term defence. (Once inside after the wash phase)

  • Three Stage Paint Decontamination: To prepare the paintwork, we perform a pre wash, snow foam, and contact wash to remove surface dirt. We follow this with a chemical fallout and glue remover wash, ending with a clay bar treatment to remove bonded contaminants.  

  • Glass and Frunk: We machine polish the glass and apply GTechnic 2-year smart glass protection. We also thoroughly clean the front "frunk" storage area, ensuring no part of the vehicle is overlooked.

Day Two: Precision Machine Polishing - Paint Correction


With a perfectly clean surface, we move to the most transformative phase: the machine polish.

For this Porsche 911, we performed a single stage machine polish correction. Using a range of machine sizes from 1 inch to 5 inch pads we are able to get into every curve and crevice to ensure a uniform finish. This process removes light scratches and swirl marks while significantly enhancing the depth and gloss of the paintwork.

Single Stage Paint Correction

Day Three: Paintwork Protection and Interior Restoration


The final day is all about locking in that shine and refreshing the cockpit.


A luxury car deserves a luxury interior. Using steamers, air guns, and a wet vac, we sanitize every crevice of the cabin. To finish, we apply GTechnic Leather Guard to all leather surfaces and GTechnic Smart Fabric to the fabric upholstery.

Professional Certified Ceramic Coating Installation



We start by using CarPro Eraser to panel wipe the paintwork, removing any polishing oils or residues. Once the surface is perfectly prepped, we apply CarPro C.Quartz Professional, a coating designed to last up to three years. This provides an incredible high gloss finish while protecting the paint against the elements and making future maintenance effortless.  

 

The result? Even for a vehicle that is seven years old, the car looks brand new.
