Consistency and trust are everything in the car detailing world. For the next couple of days, we are incredibly excited to welcome back another returning client to the studio. This is actually the third vehicle in a row he has trusted us with, and this time, he brought us his stunning 2024 Maserati Grecale.
Our client chose our Entry Level Detail & Gloss Enhancement package. This service is specifically designed for drivers who want their vehicle to look absolutely incredible and stay protected against the elements, but aren't necessarily looking for a full multi surface protection package (like wheels off arch cleaning or full interior coatings). It's an efficient, high impact service focused squarely on maximizing the look and protection of the paintwork.
If you don't keep your cars for a long number of years, or simply want a hard-hitting gloss boost, this is the perfect option. Here is how we transformed this modern Italian beauty.
Stage 1: Intensive Washing & Decontamination
To kick off the morning of Day 1, the Maserati was brought straight into the wash bay for a meticulous exterior decontamination. Even a vehicle as new as a 2024 model accumulates heavy road grime and embedded contaminants that a regular car wash can never remove.
We performed a deep chemical and mechanical decontamination process:
Fallout & Tar Removal: We applied dedicated chemical cleansers to safely dissolve metallic brake dust particles and stubborn road tar spots from the paintwork.
Clay Bar Treatment: Next, we passed a professional clay bar over every single panel. This mechanical process pulls out any remaining bonded dirt, leaving the finish surgically clean and smooth as glass.
Stage 2: The Gloss Enhancement Machine Polish
Once the paint was perfectly prepped, we moved the Grecale into the studio to begin the machine polishing phase.
Understanding the Service: It is important to note that our Entry Level Gloss Enhancement doesn't specifically focus on the heavy cutting required to remove deep scratches and severe wash swirls. Instead, it is a dedicated refining process engineered to clean the clear coat, sharpen the paint's clarity, and dramatically enhance the depth of colour.
By utilizing precision machine polishers and fine finishing compounds, we pulled out a breath taking, deep reflection across the Maserati's bodywork, making the paint look incredibly rich and vibrant.
Stage 3: The 2 Year Ceramic Coating Installation
With the polishing complete, we prepared the vehicle for its protective layers. We wiped down all the panels using CarPro Eraser a specialized panel wipe that safely strips away any leftover polishing oils or residues. This step is critical because it ensures the ceramic coating can form a direct, flawless chemical bond with the paint.
To lock in that newly enhanced gloss, we applied CarPro C.Quartz 3.0.
This ceramic coating delivers up to 2 years of robust protection. Not only does it shield the Maserati from environmental fallout, UV fading, and road harshness, but it adds intense hydrophobic properties. Water and dirt will slide right off, making the car significantly easier to wash and maintain during weekly maintenance.
Stage 4: Interior Valet & Final Handover
To tie the entire project together, we completed the job with a thorough, high standard basic interior valet clean. The cabin was completely vacuumed, surfaces wiped down, and glass polished to ensure the inside felt just as fresh as the brilliant exterior.
