Unfortunately, the "old way" of trusting that a new car is delivered in perfect condition is flawed. Our client brought his brand new Mazda straight to our studio because he knew something was off. What we discovered was an abysmal state of paintwork riddled with defects caused by poor dealership handling and transit washes. That’s the hard truth dealerships aren't showing you.

Our Proven, Multi Day Detail Ceramic Coating Process

Our approach isn't a quick wash and wax, it's a tried and trusted, multi day operation focused on measurable results leaving our clients with a flawless finish, unparalleled gloss, and guaranteed long-term protection.
Phase 1: Deep Clean and Decontamination (Day 1)
Every detail begins with a thorough decontamination wash to strip away every impurity left over from transit and bad washing practices.
Wheels-Off Decontamination: We remove all four wheels, thoroughly clean and decontaminate them inside and out to remove tar and embedded dirt, and prepare them for two-year ceramic coating.
Arches and Undercarriage: The wheel arches and undercarriage are deep-cleaned, with plastics and seals receiving a rejuvenation treatment. We even applied waxoyl to the underneath of this MX-5 for comprehensive protection.
Brake Caliper Transformation: At the customer's request, the standard calipers were prepped and coated with three coats of bright yellow paint, turning a "boring silver" component into a sensational feature.
Engine Bay & Seals: We meticulously clean the engine bay, door shuts, and even the convertible roof mechanisms. Top Tip: When cleaning hardtop convertible seals, move the roof to a midpoint position to get access to the seals and mechanisms, preventing dirt from falling down and jamming the system.
Glass Preparation: The glass is machine polished to remove any surface contamination or water spots. The windscreen is coated three times with a dedicated glass ceramic coating for maximum clarity and water repellence.
Phase 2: Paint Correction and Defect Removal - Day 2
Even though this car had zero miles, the paintwork was littered with swirl marks and scratches, the signature damage from rushed pre delivery cleanings.
Using our specialized Rupes machine polishers and techniques, we performed a single-stage machine polish (a paint correction). This process delicately and effectively removes the scratches and swirls, restoring the paint's deep, rich reflectivity. The difference is night and day.
Phase 3: Dual-Layered Ceramic Coating Day 3 Ceramic Coating
With the paint corrected and prepped, it's ready for the ultimate protection—our Dual-Layered Ceramic Coating System.
CarPro DQuartz Diamond (Base Layer): We start with this revolutionary coating. It utilizes functionalized Nano Diamond technology to dramatically increase the surface hardness of the paint, offering an incredible defence against environmental fallout and future light marring. The slow cure time (10-15 minutes) on this coating demands a skilled, precise application.
CarPro CQuartz Professional (Top Layer): We then apply the CQuartz Professional over the DQuartz layer. This topcoat is a professional-only product that enhances the extreme gloss and provides the hyper-hydrophobic (water-repelling) properties, creating a hard, dense barrier that makes cleaning easier and extends the durability of the entire system.
This dual-layered approach is key to achieving a lasting, incredibly hard finish that protects against salt, acids, bird muck etchings and fine swirls for years.
