Why Your "Brand New" Car Needs a Professional Certified Detail
There is a common misconception in the automotive world: that a car is at its absolute best the moment it leaves the showroom floor.
However, between the factory and your driveway, a lot can happen. From industrial fallout during transit to "poor dealership washes" that leave behind micro scratches, "brand new" often doesn't mean "perfect".
We recently completed a Signature Detail on a stunning, "fresh out the box" Mini to elevate it beyond factory standards and protect the owner’s investment from day one.
The 3 Day Transformation Process
Day 1: The Deep Clean & Glass Protection
Even with less than 1,000 miles on the clock, the decontamination process is vital.
Wheels Off Service: We removed the wheels to strip away factory grease and road grime, followed by a 2 year dedicated ceramic coating to the barrels and faces.
The 3 Stage Wash: A precise sequence of pre wash, snow foam, contact wash to safely remove surface dirt.
Chemical & Mechanical Decontamination: We used tar and fallout removers, finishing with a clay bar to ensure the paint was surgically smooth. Ready for machine polishing!
Engine Bay: Even the engine bay received a detail to remove transit dust and debris.
Smart Glass: We polished all exterior glass and applied Gtechniq Smart Glass (rated for 20,000 miles) to ensure maximum visibility during motorway driving in the rain.
Day 2: Perfecting the Paintwork
To achieve that signature mirror like gloss, we performed a single stage machine polish. This step:
Removes light swirls and scratches often inflicted during dealership preparation.
Significantly enhances the depth and clarity of the paint.

Following the polish, the car was treated with CarPro Eraser to remove any oils, ensuring our CarPro C.QUARTZ Professional 3 year coating could form a permanent chemical bond with the surface.
Day 3: Interior Sanctuary
A new car should feel new for years, not weeks. After a deep clean of the cabin, we applied:
Gtechniq Leather Guard: To prevent stains and abrasion on the leather.
Gtechniq Smart Fabric: To seal the upholstery against spills and dirt.
